For DTLAB’s #90for90, Amanda Katz asked friend and colleague Rachel McLeod Kaminer to exchange and re-write one another’s work. The only rule is that the title must be in the title. They’ll read in a chiasmus: Amanda does Amanda, Rachel does Amanda, Rachel does Rachel, Amanda does Rachel.
Amanda Katz is an artist/writer who also runs Katz’s Deli, a micro-residency and discussion based exhibition program, out of her Santa Monica studio. She met Rachel while moonlighting in the Graduate Writing Program at Otis College of Art and Design. Rachel McLeod Kaminer recently completed a book-length work of poetry. Her writing, editorial work and translations appear or are forthcoming in OR, the Open Review Quarterly, and The Laurel Review. They are both part of a weekly-ish collaborative workshop whose musings, obsessions, and questions echo here: http://partialtongues.tumblr.com/
